Terms & Conditions (last updated May 5, 2004)

1. For events that allow you to bring a guest (a non-member), you agree to inform your guest of these terms & conditions, and your guest must agree to them. Guest fees may apply.
2. Paid memberships in the club are not refundable, and are not transferable. They also can not be put on hold. We believe we have priced our memberships very competitively that this should not pose a financial burden if for some reason you discontinue your paid membership prior to it's expiration.
3. You must be at least 21 years of age to join the club.
4. You must be at least 21 years of age to attend an event, unless stated otherwise.
5. You are single, meaning you are divorced, separated, widowed, or never married.
6. The information you provided when you joined the club is true and correct.  The club may verify any and all of the information you supplied.
7. The club reserves the right to deny, cancel, or otherwise terminate membership, at its discretion, without refund, for behavior deemed disruptive to club events or dangerous to others or self, damaging to the club's reputation, or other due cause.
8. The club reserves the right to limit participation in certain events by members who repeatedly sign up for events and then do not show and/or who repeatedly sign up for events and cancel after the event's deadline or with short notice. Such behavior deprives other members of a chance to participate when the event has a limit on how many can participate. Such behavior can also damage the club's reputation when reservations are required, and also needlessly inconveniences other members who are waiting for you.
9. If you pay for anything (including membership) through the club by personal check, and the check bounces, you agree to be held liable for any fee the club's bank charges it, plus an additional $5 service charge. The club may ask that said fees and service charge be paid for by certified check, cashiers check, or credit card.
10. These Terms and Conditions may be ammended from time to time and will be a binding part of this agreement. Notice of such will be posted on the club's web site, and/or in the weekly newsletter.
11. The club may take pictures at events. You implicitly agree that the club can publish the pictures on the web site, and may use them in promotional materials. If you prefer to not have your picture taken then please make sure to not get into the frame of view.
12. Privacy and No Solicitation Policy
1. There is no solicitation or promotion of non club events, products or services of any kind permitted at club events. It is not permitted to pass out flyers, promotional products or pamphlets of any kind.
2. It is not permitted to gather people's email addresses for the purpose of sales, promotion or recruitment for organizations or multilevel marketing companies.
3. Any member's e-mail addresses, phone numbers, or other contact and/or personal information you obtain from a member (or the club as a result of being an event contact, arranging carpools, etc.) will not be used in any way, except as would be normal for the proper operation of the club.
13. Release and waiver of Liability
1. You understand that the club does not screen club members nor guests, and that neither the staff nor the club is to be held responsible for any actions of any person(s) involved with club activities.
2. You release the club from any liability in regard to the acts and conduct of any member or nonmember of the organization. You understand that participation in club events is at your own risk, and you waive any and all claims against the club in regard to injury.
3. You hereby agree to assume the risk of injury or damage.  You agree to hold harmless the club, its employees, directors, agents, officers, event coordinators and members from any and all liability whatsoever resulting from participation in any and all of its sponsored or related activities.
4. Certain activities can be dangerous, and there is the possibility that you can be injured. No one in the club can or will be held liable for any injury or any financial or other loss which may occur during a club event. It's best for you to evaluate your abilities and physical condition before participating in any outdoor event, be it with the club or on your own!
5. The terms contained herein shall serve as a waiver of liability of the club and an assumption of risk on your behalf, your heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns for any and all known or unknown personal injuries, emotional trauma and suffering, financial loss and/or property damage or loss, should any suit or legal action be bought against the club, club officers and sponsors. You agree that if you, or your heirs, or anyone acting on their or your behalf should bring such suit that you/they shall pay all attorney fees, related court and defense costs should you/they not prevail. Should any part of this agreement be found invalid or not enforceable by a court of law, then the remaining portion shall continue to be valid and in force. Your acceptance below certifies that you have carefully read all of the above agreement and understand and agree to comply with all of it's terms and provisions. You certify that you have read the detailed description, extra information, etc of the event that you participate in and are physically/mentally capable of participation. You are in good health and physical condition. You are voluntarily participating with knowledge that dangers are involved and agree to assume all risk.
